Hi! Today we are going to talk about the Goya Awards, a similar ceremony to the Oscar.
The Goya Awards are the most important awards of the cinema in Spain. They take place every year in February since 1987. The last ones were presented by the succesful spanish actor Dani Rovira. He does it very well because he didn't allow people to get bored.
The ceremony began with the traditional show and then the delivery of the prizes took place.
Truman, is the film that won more prizes: Best Movie, Best Editing, Best Script and Best Main Actor. It won four of the five prizes which it was nominated to. Another prizes were to Pablo Ablorán (best song), Anacleto Agente Secreto (best special effects), and the Honor Goya was for the successful spanish actor Mariano Ozores who has directed more than 96 movies.
And that's all for today, we hope you'll like it.
